Manhattan, NYC— In alignment with NYC Climate Week’s global call for bold climate and infrastructure action, LocalContent.com will host the NY/NJ Regional Supply Chain Market Index Luncheon—a high-level convening of government officials, industry leaders, and small business stakeholders committed to strengthening regional supply chain resilience and national security.

Held at Opto NYC (35 W 20th St, New York, NY 10011), the event will serve as both a strategic planning forum and the launch of a market readiness study—focused on real-time data, cross-sector alignment, and unlocking opportunities for local and domestic business participation throughout the NY/NJ region. It will further advance the workforce, economic, and community development objectives commonly known as local and domestic content—requirements increasingly embedded in projects led by developers, manufacturers, and public-private buyers.

While anchored in power generation and transmission, the initiative spans multiple sectors including manufacturing, technology, ports, civil construction, healthcare, defense, and sports and entertainment—all of which rely on secure, affordable, U.S.-based supply chains.

Attendees will include:
Developers, OEMs, prime contractors, nonprofits, and small businesses involved across the full project lifecycle—from planning and permitting to construction and long-term operations—who are collectively shaping the infrastructure of tomorrow while championing equitable economic opportunity.

Key Focus Areas

  • Aligning NY/NJ regional economic development initiatives
  • De-risking infrastructure through stakeholder-centered supply chain strategies
  • Scaling local and domestic content across industries
  • Leveraging public sentiment and certification to unlock funding streams
  • Enhancing procurement readiness and Tier 1 supplier engagement
  • Tracking performance through compliance and data-driven tools
  • Aligning with federal and state permitting and funding priorities

Launch of the NY/NJ Energy + Industry Regional Supply Chain Tour

The luncheon will also inaugurate the NY/NJ Energy + Industry Regional Supply Chain Tour, a 12-month regional initiative co-led by Promatech, Inc.—a New Jersey-based construction management and stakeholder engagement company—and LocalContent.com. Backed by seed funding from the Pro-NJ Grantor Trust, a leading force in energy sector investment, the tour will assist developers and suppliers in meeting local and domestic content mandates, while expanding contract opportunities—especially for small and diverse businesses across the NY/NJ region.

Tour Highlights

  • Monthly educational and opportunity-mapping sessions
  • Support for U.S. and international developers navigating compliance tied to contracts, grants, leases, and tax incentives
  • Participation in regional and national trade shows with public-private buyers
  • A full-day hybrid Regional Supplier Event in Atlantic City, scheduled for September 2026, serving 100 in-person and 200 virtual attendees
