As part of the Local Content Summit event series, the Maritime + Ports Supplier and Workforce Breakfast brings together government, industry, and community leaders to examine how local content requirements are reshaping competitiveness, compliance, and stakeholder engagement. The session highlights opportunities across the maritime, ports, and supply chain sectors to expand local economic participation, strengthen supplier networks, and build workforce capacity. Finding Us
WindScape Brooklyn is located in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. The center is in Building 4, Section A, Floor 6 located at 34 35th Street in Industry City.
Public Transit (recommended):
Subway: Take the D, N, or R trains to 36th Street Station (Brooklyn). Exit at 36th Street and walk north along 4th Avenue to 35th Street. Turn left and walk west along 35th Street (toward the waterfront). Cross 3rd Avenue to Industry City. Bus: The B35 (39th Street) and B70 (3rd Avenue) stop nearby and are short walks directly into Industry City
Locating 34 35th Street, Building 4, Section A, Floor 6:
After crossing 3rd Avenue, continue west along 35th Street until you’re almost at 2nd Avenue. Look for a colorful sign WindScape Brooklyn (pictured here) as you continue down the walkway.Enter through the large black double-doors between the WindScape Brooklyn sign on the left and Artist & Craftsman Supply store on the right.
Inside the Building:
Once inside, look for a black and white directory marked “BLDG 4 A Section.”“WindScape Brooklyn: A Community Offshore Wind Learning Center” will be noted on the sign. Take the elevator directly behind the sign. Press the button for the 6th floor (no code or scanning required).When you exit the elevator, WindScape Brooklyn will be directly in front of you.
Parking:
A paid parking lot is available on 2nd Avenue between 36th and 37th Streets, directly across from Industry City. Rates are approximately $20/day. Because parking is limited and fills quickly, we encourage guests to use public transit, carpool, or rideshare (Uber/Lyft) whenever possible.
