The Institute for Workforce Advancement (IWA) FutureReady Workforce Training Program is a high-impact initiative funded by the New York Power Authority (NYPA) that prepares over 200 residents of Long Island and New York City for high-growth careers in renewable energy, advanced manufacturing, and drone aviation. Through immersive 40-hour summer training sessions, participants gain hands-on experience, job readiness instruction, and a $400 stipend—along with access to internships and career networks. With over $1.5 billion in projected sector growth by 2030, IWA FutureReady serves as a key driver of economic and workforce development.
