Technoforce and The SPIN Foundation Partner with Sports Power Infrastructure to Strengthen New Jersey’s $57.6 Billion Infrastructure Workforce and Supplier Pipeline

Sports Power Infrastructure™ integrates sports, data, and AI to prepare youth and adults for high-demand careers in energy, construction, broadband, healthcare, and manufacturing — advancing workforce, supplier, and community development statewide.
Trenton, NJ — Workforce and community development firm Technoforce and nonprofit The SPIN Foundation announced a new License Agreement with Sports Power Infrastructure (SPI) during the 27th Annual Supplier Diversity Development Council (SDDC) Conference, held at The Palace at Somerset Park in New Jersey.
Sports Power Infrastructure uses the power of sports, entertainment, and data to attract, train, and certify the future workforce and suppliers for the global infrastructure economy. Through this partnership, Technoforce and The SPIN Foundation will connect athletic performance, career development, character resilience, and infrastructure sentiment through proprietary AI-powered technology to prepare youth and adults for high-demand infrastructure careers in energy, construction, broadband, manufacturing, healthcare, transportation, maritime, and defense.
This collaboration aligns with local, state, and federal workforce and supplier development priorities, ensuring that public and private investments meet local participation, job creation, and community benefit requirements while increasing positive public sentiment toward infrastructure development.
According to the New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA), the state’s infrastructure and construction sector is forecast to generate a record-breaking $57.6 billion in capital spending across 2025 and 2026, reflecting a surge in investment across energy, broadband, transportation, and clean manufacturing sectors (NJBIA, 2024).
Sports Power Infrastructure achieves a 70–90% industry discovery rate, revealing new career and business pathways for local stakeholders — many previously unaware of opportunities within infrastructure sectors or how infrastructure directly improves their quality of life.
Key Actions Under the License Agreement
Technoforce and The SPIN Foundation will:
- Host “Sports Power Train-the-Trainer” and licensing sessions with New Jersey–based nonprofits, schools, and small businesses to deliver the Sports Power Ratings™ technology, which measures athletic performance, career readiness, infrastructure public sentiment, and workforce preparedness.
- Expand training provider partnerships through Sports Power Infrastructure Plus™, combining ratings technology with mandatory infrastructure certifications such as OSHA 10/30, fall prevention, emergency procedures, and commercial energy audits. This includes collaboration with TS Safety Solutions, a New Jersey–based provider of construction safety training.
- Use Sports Power solutions to help New Jersey nonprofits strengthen their programs and capital campaigns, such as LIFE / Four Corners Child Development Center in Burlington, NJ, whose restroom renovation campaign will enable the center to serve more working families and connect them to infrastructure-related careers.
- Work with corporate sponsors and brands to host premium sports experiences that enhance New Jersey resident engagement, strengthen workforce pipelines, and improve public sentiment and data collection for infrastructure industries.
“Sports have been part of my family’s life forever. As a long time resident and small business owner in New Jersey , this partnership represents a powerful new way to connect athletic discipline and community development with workforce and supplier readiness,” said Robin Berg Tabakin, Esq., President and Owner of Technoforce LLC and President-Elect of the New Jersey State Women’s Chamber of Commerce. “By integrating the Sports Power Ratings™ system into New Jersey’s workforce and training ecosystem, we are using the power of sports, entertainment, and data to build a stronger, safer, and more inclusive infrastructure economy — one that opens real doors for talent and businesses across our state.”
“At The SPIN Foundation, we believe sports are more than competition — they are a gateway to opportunity,” said William Certain, Co-Founder and Executive Director of The SPIN Foundation. “Our collaboration with Technoforce and Sports Power Infrastructure™ channels the motivation and teamwork of sports into measurable workforce, education, and supplier outcomes that help individuals, families, and communities thrive.”
“Sports Power Infrastructure™ was built from over 20 years of public-private development and community-based programming experience to transform the influence of sports into measurable opportunity,” said Tenicka Chaney, Senior Director of Sports and Entertainment at LocalContent.com, which operates Sports Power Infrastructure™. “Both of these organizations have completed extensive training to earn this license. They will serve as anchor partners to expand New Jersey’s capacity for workforce, supplier, and community development.”
The partnership launches a series of 2026 initiatives as New Jersey prepares to serve as the epicenter of the global soccer movement during the world’s largest soccer event, taking place next summer. These initiatives will showcase how sports can drive workforce, supplier, and community development while strengthening public-private collaboration.
