| Empire Energizer Special Update | October 10, 2023 |
| WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 11Add Your Voice to the Empire Wind Public Hearings Tomorrow, October 11th, the New York Public Service Commission (PSC) will be holding two public information sessions and two public statement hearings as a part of the PSC’s Article VII process. These sessions are an important opportunity for you to share your insights and opinions about the Empire Wind Project. You can learn more about the upcoming hearings and how you can add your unique voice to the proceedings here. (Haga clic aquí para descargar en español.) At the public information sessions, the Department of Public Service (DPS) will provide an overview of the PSC’s certification process, and Empire Wind will provide a project summary. The public will have an opportunity to ask questions during these sessions and then provide comments at the public hearing that follows. Your participation is encouraged, and your comments are welcomed. During the public statement hearings, individuals will be called to speak after completing a request card. Appointments in advance or written materials are not required to speak at the hearing. Each public statement hearing will remain open for a minimum of thirty minutes and will continue until everyone who wishes to speak has been heard, or alternative arrangements have been made to include their comments in the official record.
